Marie Kenny is a French-born visual artist based in Cape Town, South Africa. While her passion for photography began early, motherhood—particularly raising neurodivergent children—deepened her commitment to the medium. She uses photography as a tool for radical acceptance and creative expression, capturing the complexities of family life with honesty and depth.
Merging documentary storytelling with painterly qualities, Marie’s work has been exhibited in South Africa. Beyond her art, she coaches artists and works as a family photographer, with a special focus on representing unconventional and neurodiverse families.
